THE LITSET METHOD
The LitSet Method — Small Group Novel Coaching for Stuck Writers
Sep 16, 2026 - Dec 2, 2026
$2,100.00 or 2 Plans Available
Your Novel Isn't Broken. It's Stuck.
This 12-week, small group coaching program is for writers who started a novel and hit a wall, whether that be mid-draft, at the end of a messy first draft, or deep in a revision that’s gone in circles. It’s built around three things that are almost always tangled together when a manuscript stalls: the pages themselves, the writer behind them, and the life that writer is trying to build a practice inside of.
We'll start with your manuscript by diagnosing what’s working (and what’s not) in your pages. Then we get into who you are as a writer—your lineage, your process, your voice—the stuff that’s much harder to see about your own work. And we end with what often gets skipped in writing programs: how the heck you sustain this writing life, long after this program ends.
The LitSet Method includes a private 1:1 session with me, developmental editing, craft instruction, and a sustainable writing practice. You’ll also get direct feedback on your pages every week. You’ll be in a small group (8-10 writers max), and you’ll finish with an actual plan.
THE METHOD (Three-Phase Breakdown)
The LitSet Method works on three levels, because a stuck draft—whether unfinished or fully written—is rarely just a manuscript problem:
MANUSCRIPT RESET (Weeks 1–4): Diagnose what's actually happening on the page, wherever it currently ends by addressing premise, structure, and character desire. Finish with a clear roadmap for finishing or revising.
WRITER RESET (Weeks 6–8): Understand who you are as a writer: your lineage, your process, your voice, so you're able to complete your book, not the book you think you're supposed to write.
WRITING LIFE RESET (Weeks 9–11): Build a writing practice that survives real life by looking at your time, capacity, the publishing path, and community to keeps you going after week 12.
(Week 5 is a built-in rest week. Week 12 is integration that focuses on your path forward, presented and refined with individual feedback.)
WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH
-
A clear structural diagnosis of your novel and/or a concrete plan to revise it
-
Direct editorial notes from Christine, including one private 1:1 session
-
A stronger sense of your own voice and literary lineage
-
A realistic writing practice built around your actual life, not an idealized one
-
A cohort of serious peers at your stage to help provide a real accountability structure
-
A path forward for publication, mapped to where your book actually is
The simplified version: you leave with a book well on its way, a clearer sense of who you are as a writer, and a plan for not quitting. Most programs give you one of those. The LitSet Method gives you all three.
WHO THIS IS FOR
-
You have real pages, anywhere from a partial draft to a full manuscript
-
You're stuck mid-draft and unsure how to move forward, at the end of a draft that isn't working, or deep in a revision that's gone in circles
-
You've felt stalled in the same place for a while and can't self-diagnose why
-
You want real editorial feedback, not just encouragement
-
You're ready to commit 12 weeks
This isn't ideal for those who are still at the idea stage with no pages written yet, or for those looking for a low-commitment, browse-at-your-own-pace course. This is live, intensive, and small by design.
